Installation Guide
Use this guide to install WOI Mortal safely from the official woimortal.net download page. The current installer is prepared for the WOI Mortal client and launcher flow.
1. Choose the right download
The recommended option is Direct Download. If the direct link is slow for your location, use Google Drive or Mega as offline installer mirrors.
The Google Drive and Mega mirrors are ZIP archives that contain the WOI Mortal Offline Installer and three required .bin files. Keep all files together while installing.
2. Install to a clean folder
Install the game into a normal folder such as C:\Games\WOI Mortal. Avoid protected Windows folders when possible, because permissions can block patching or launcher updates.
If you use the offline ZIP, extract the whole ZIP first and start the installer from the extracted folder.
3. Run the launcher
After installation, start the WOI Mortal launcher and let it check the client files. If a patch is available, wait for the update to finish before pressing Start Game.
Do not mix files from older private server clients unless staff specifically asks you to do so.
4. Common fixes
If the launcher cannot update, run it as Administrator once and make sure your antivirus did not quarantine game files. If the game opens but cannot connect, check Discord for maintenance notices.
If a download is interrupted, delete the partial file and download again from one of the official mirrors.
