Client ZIP Setup Guide
Use this guide to prepare WOI Mortal safely from the official woimortal.net download page. The current client is delivered as a manual ZIP package with official mirrors.
1. Choose the right mirror
The recommended option is Direct ZIP Download. If the direct link is slow for your location, use Google Drive or Mega as mirror packages.
All official mirrors provide a ZIP archive. Extract it completely and keep Mortal_Installer.exe together with Mortal_Installer.bin.
2. Extract to a clean folder
Extract the ZIP to a normal folder such as C:\Games\WOI Mortal Download. Avoid protected Windows folders when possible, because permissions can block file preparation or launcher updates.
Do not run files directly from inside the compressed archive. Extract the whole ZIP first, then start Mortal_Installer.exe from the extracted folder.
3. Run the launcher
After the client is prepared, start the WOI Mortal launcher and let it check the client files. If a patch is available, wait for the update to finish before pressing Start Game.
Do not mix files from older server clients unless staff specifically asks you to do so.
4. Common fixes
If the launcher cannot update, run it as Administrator once and make sure your antivirus did not quarantine game files. If the game opens but cannot connect, check Discord for maintenance notices.
If a download is interrupted, delete the partial file and download again from one of the official mirrors.

Check the ZIP before running it
The Downloads page lists the current version, file size, update date and SHA-256 checksum. If your downloaded file does not match the listed checksum, delete it and download again from the official mirror.
Antivirus notes
False-positive warnings
Some game launchers and patchers can be flagged by antivirus software because they update executable files. Download only from the official page, verify the hash and avoid random reuploads from other players.
