New Player Guide

A practical first-day guide for WOI Mortal Dawn of Calamity, the official woimortal.net War of the Immortals server.

Create your account

Register with a real email address and set a recovery answer that only you know. Email confirmation is required before normal website login, and recovery details matter if you later lose access.

After logging in, open the account panel and check the Security tab. Optional 2FA is recommended before you start using credits, Daily Zen or character services.

Download and install

Use the official Downloads page. Direct ZIP Download is the recommended mirror, while Google Drive and Mega provide the same ZIP package as fallback mirrors.

Extract the ZIP completely, keep Mortal_Installer.exe and Mortal_Installer.bin together, then prepare the client in a clean folder outside protected Windows directories. Let the launcher check files before starting the game.

Create your character

Pick a class that matches your preferred role. WOI Mortal has server-specific attribute recommendations, so check the class guide in the Information page instead of copying old builds blindly.

Once the character exists, it appears in your website account panel with level, class, power and account service options.

Claim Daily Zen

WOI Mortal uses a website Daily Zen reward. The base claim is 400,000 Zen once per day. If your main account has a confirmed linked alt, the main account can claim for the linked alt too.

The panel shows a timer for the next claim. Some unusual patterns can be sent to GM review so real players are not punished automatically.

Follow rankings and progress

Use Rankings to follow top players, PvP competition and active characters. The server is tuned for fast leveling, but long-term progress still comes from class direction, gear, pets, mounts, bosses and group play.

Use Discord

Join Discord for patch notes, event notices, maintenance updates and support. If several real players share the same home connection, talk to staff early so your account pattern is understood.

Confirm your email, make sure the client is patched, choose a class direction, read the account limits and keep your login details confidential. These small steps prevent most avoidable support problems.

Use one main account and link your legitimate alt from the website panel.

Report bugs to staff instead of using them for progression.

First hour route

A simple path for new players

Your first hour should be about stability: make sure the client works, understand your account tools and set a direction for your first character before spending important resources.

Confirm your email and test that you can log in to the website account panel.

Open Security and enable optional 2FA if you want stronger protection and the Daily Zen bonus.

Check class recommendations before assigning attributes or committing to a long-term build.

Join Discord before reporting a bug, asking for support or waiting for event news.

How to get help faster

If something breaks, send staff the account name, character name, screenshot, launcher error if any, and the time when it happened. Clear reports are much easier to solve than short messages like "it does not work".

Use screenshots for visual problems, missing rewards, launcher errors and payment questions.

Include server time when the issue happened so logs can be checked quickly.

Never post your password, secret answer or 2FA code in public chat.
