Launcher Fixes Guide
Most launcher problems come from missing permissions, incomplete downloads, antivirus quarantine or mixed client files. Use this guide before reinstalling the whole game.
Launcher will not update
Run the launcher once as Administrator and make sure the game folder is writable. Windows can block patching when the client is installed inside protected folders such as Program Files or a synced cloud folder.
If the launcher opens but the update never completes, check whether your antivirus quarantined one of the launcher files. Restore the file only if it came from the official WOI Mortal download page, then add the game folder as an exclusion.
Offline installer cannot start
The offline package must be extracted before installation. Keep WOI Mortal Offline Installer.exe and all three .bin files in the same folder. If one .bin file is missing, the installer cannot rebuild the full client.
If the ZIP download was interrupted, delete the partial file and download again. Do not mix files from Google Drive and Mega unless the file names and sizes match the official package.
Game opens but cannot connect
First check the Server Status page and Discord announcements. If the server is online, allow the launcher and game executables through Windows Firewall and any third-party security software.
Players using public networks, school networks or workplace networks may have game ports blocked. Test from a normal home connection before assuming the client is broken.
Client files are mixed
Do not copy files from another private server into the WOI Mortal folder. Different launchers, patch lists and data archives can cause crashes, missing textures, wrong interface files or connection errors.
If the client was mixed with another server, make a clean installation into a new folder and let the official launcher patch it from the beginning.

Send useful support information
Support is much faster when staff can see the exact problem. Include your Windows version, which mirror you used, the install folder, a screenshot of the launcher error and whether antivirus removed anything.
